Baby Kick Counter & Tracker
TripleEdge Studio provides Baby Kick Counter & Tracker (package: com.tripleedgestudio.babykickcounter). This policy describes the current app and optional test-ad functionality in development builds.
1. Your movement journal
No account is required. Movement events, session dates and times, durations, pauses, notes, reminders and preferences are stored in private app storage on your device. These can contain sensitive pregnancy-related information. We do not operate a server that receives these records or send them to advertising services.
2. How records are used
The app uses your entries to display sessions, history and informational charts, restore unfinished sessions, deliver reminders and prepare requested exports. It does not automatically detect movements or assess your baby's health.
3. Exports and sharing
PDF and CSV exports are created when you request them. You choose the recipient using Android's share sheet. Deleting records cannot remove shared copies. Temporary export files are removed on a later export after 24 hours, or when you delete all app data.
4. Permissions
- Notifications: optional reminders and session status. You can control lock-screen visibility in Android settings.
- Boot and time-change events: reschedule local reminders.
- Network access in the optional test-ad build: load ads after you enable them.
The app does not request contacts, camera, microphone, precise location or body-sensor access. Reminders depend on Android settings and may be delayed.
5. Advertising
Current release ad serving is disabled. Development builds offer an optional Google AdMob test-ad switch, off by default. Banners appear on History and Settings; occasional interstitials may appear after leaving a saved summary. Rewarded ads are user-initiated and grant a local 24-hour ad break when completed. Ads are blocked during unsaved sessions.
When the ad SDK runs, Google may process IP addresses, device or account identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostics for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. The current test build requests non-personalized ads and removes Android advertising-ID permission; technical data may still be processed. Movement records and notes are not attached to ad requests.
See Google's Privacy Policy and Google Mobile Ads data disclosure. Production IDs are configured, but live release ads are not yet enabled. This policy will be reviewed before data practices change.
6. Firebase and purchases
Base Firebase configuration is present. Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Authentication, Firestore, cloud storage and push-messaging SDKs are not currently integrated. There is no journal cloud backup or account sync. The one-time purchase section is informational; payments are not enabled.
Upcoming Remove Ads option: We plan to offer a one-time purchase to remove advertising, with the proposed Google Play product ID remove_ads_kickcounter. This product has not yet been created in Google Play Console and cannot currently be purchased. Once available, its price and purchase terms will be displayed before payment. Google Play will process payments; we will not receive your card or bank details. We will update this policy when billing is enabled.
7. Retention and deletion
Local records remain until deleted, app storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Use Settings → Delete all data to remove local sessions, notes, reminders, preferences and temporary exports. Alternatively, use Android Settings → Apps → Baby Kick Counter → Storage → Clear data. Android app backup and device-transfer backup are disabled. There is no account to delete or server copy of your journal for us to recover.
Deletion does not erase exports elsewhere, support emails or data already processed by Google. Use Google's privacy controls for its data; contact us for requests concerning information you sent us.
8. Support and privacy requests
If you email us, we receive your address and the information you provide to respond to your request. Avoid sending pregnancy records or sensitive screenshots unless you choose to share them. Correspondence is retained as needed to handle your request and applicable obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion of information you provided to us by email.
9. Audience and changes
The app is intended for people tracking pregnancy, not as a service directed at children. We do not sell your journal or use it for advertising profiles. We will update this page and its date when functionality or data practices change.
